Acrylamide also is found in MOST cereals. There are about two or three cereals that are good for you, and the rest are junk.  But that’s another topic down the road…

    Hi
Potato chips are not part of my regular diet. I stay away from fried foods except at a San Francisco - Daly City restaurant once in a blue moon (as it was last May).
But acylamide is something to watch for in all pre-packaged foods.
Did you ever hear about aluminum being leached by the products that are cooked or stored in it? I always use plastic to store foods now.
Nautral potatoes (boiled, baked) are a good “filler” for that starchy craving and the needs of the body for pasty tasting stuff.

They are generally not part of anyone’s diet, but you will be surprised what people say and do. I was at Trader Joe’s yesterday watching how fast the chip isle got emptied.

You might want to think of using glass as storage. See June archive.
