Concerning Your Health - How Clean are Those Hotel Room Glasses?

The next time you check in a hotel, be sure to wash your glasses thoroughly or better yet, bring your own. According to Fox News, Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Embassy Suites, and the likes, they all clean their glasses the “dirty” way. Instead of taking them to the dishwasher for cleaning, the housekeeper cleans them by:

1) Spraying them with glass cleaner and drying them with SOILED towels

2) Or by rinsing the dirty glasses with just plain water, without the usage of any detergent.

Either way, it is a health concern as Disease Control Expert Roy Acosta points out that one can contract any of the following pathogens: E-coli, salmonella, herpes, scab infections, hepatitis, etc.

    That was good to no and thanks. I dont use the glasses at the hotels/motels. I always bring my own and if I forget them then I got to a grocery store etc there and buy them. You just never no do you..Have a great Sat. Huggs Babe
