Secrets to a More Toned Body

Ever since I flattened my tummy, a different side of me emerged and that gave me the encouragement to exercise on a regular basis. The more I exercise, the more I realize the feminine I have become. It’s a great metamorphic change, and one that still shocks me even today. I have a hard time believing that at my age, I can still have a nice body.

To tone my body, I use a combination of gym equipment:

1) 30 minutes on the trendmill
2) 5 minutes on the row machine
3) 5 minutes on the stationary bike
4) 5 minutes on the equipment where your feet go up and down and your arms push and pull.

To flatten my abs, I do a combination of push ups, pull ups, side push ups, and abs related exercises.

On the weekends, I walk for 45 minutes around a neighboring canyon.

Though this may sound excessive, it’s not, especially when I consume on average 2000 to 2500 calories per day. In the past, I have tried eating below 2000 calories but that does not work too well, not when I like to experiment in the kitchen.

My body is still undergoing changes. I’m not sure what I will look like in the next 6 months but that is the quest I take. If I lose one more inch off my waist by Dec 2008, I will be happy.
