What I Learned About Exercising and About Weight Loss
1) Walking has always been my form of exercising, but walking does not tone the body. It’s the variety of gym equipment that does.
2) As you get older, it’s important to exercise on a regular basis because the loss of muscle mass gravitates the body unpleasantly. If you want to keep your chest and buns in shape, you need to exercise regularly.
3) A firm mattress is a great exercising pad for those who have not done any exercise in a while. You are less likely to injure yourself.
4) To lose weight, you need to stray away from processed foods. The only way I know is to cook gourmet.
5) The Europeans have very small refrigerators because they do not like to eat left overs. They are high carb people who eat alot of bread and pasta. Bread is baked several times a day, and pasta is made fresh daily. They even use alot of butter and olive oil in their cuisine, yet the majority do not get fat. Perhaps, the reason maybe they like to eat fresh, not processed.
6) Your metabolism is the slowest during your sleeping hours. It’s important NOT to skip breakfast if you want to maintain a healthy metabolism.
With all that cooking and many trips to the stores you are burning extra calories just trying to prepare meals……
You’re right. I do burn calories this way.
