How Much Food Has Changed Since the 1900’s

NY Times writer Mark Bittman shares with his audience on the changes of food since the 1900’s.

In the 1900’s, the mother cooked, and the food was real. The ingredients used were simple without the usage of artificial flavorings. Frozen food, corn flakes, Cheese Wiz, Pringles, Pop Tarts, Minute Rice, chicken nuggets, goldfish crackers, restaurant chains, and vitamins did not exist.  Very interesting video.

Thanks, that is interesting. We have way too many ingredients in our foods these days. I always shop at Trader Joes and they are pretty good about the foods they sell.
