Blueberry Smoothie

For those looking for a good blueberry smoothie recipe, here’s one worth trying.

As an option, add 1 tbsp. of grinded flax seeds.

The original recipe is from Bibby at Parties That Cook. In it, she calls for 1/4 cup of raspberries and 1/4 blueberries. I’ve decided to go with the full 1/2 cup of blueberries and throw in the grinded flax seeds. This way I get my daily fiber and some omega 3’s.

Keep in mind that smoothies tend to be high in calories. This one is about 400 calories.

Carrots are Low in Calories

One cup of carrots contains just 57 calories.
