Talk is a Good Way to Lose Weight

The next time you eat your meals, try eating with someone you can have a good conversation with.  That’s because it takes the brain 20 minutes to tell your body that your stomach is full.  If you engage in “meal conversations,” you are going to end up eating less that by the time those 20 minutes are up, your brain is already telling you that you’re full.  That’s a tip from food journalist Michael Pollan.

Just remember to eat with your mouth close or you will choke.   That’s because whenever you eat with your mouth close, the sphicter is available to guide your food down the right way.   Whenever you talk or whenever your mouth is open, that sphicter is not available, and the food will then go down the wrong way.
