Why I Exercise
1) To relief me from everyday stresses. Exercise is therapeutic to me. It helps me relax and takes my mind off of things.
2) To keep my muscle cells active. We are born with a finite number of muscle cells. If we do not utilize our muscle cells by exercising, they will be gone. And once they are gone, they cannot be replaced or reproduced.
3) To keep my tummy flat. If I stop, I will look “pregnant”.
4) To keep my thighs and legs slim. If I stop, my legs will look like “tree trunks”.
5) To maintain my weight, so I will not get embarrassed when the doctor or nurse weighs me.
6) To build stronger bones for my body and to avoid osteoporosis.
